It's been a while since it rained in Devildom, and when it rains, reading a book would be refreshing or just doing homework. But the thing is, I'm too lazy to do homework.

So I went out to meet Satan at the library to fetch something good to read, and as usual, he recommended a lot. I only picked one and was about to read when a loud bang echoed through the whole peaceful library. We looked at who created the noise and it was no other than my boyfriend.

“Oi, oi! So here's where ya are! Been lookin' for ya for ages and why are ya with him!” He shouted as he marched and slammed his hands on the sides of the couch where I'm sitting. “She was only reading a book, Mammon. It's not like I was flirting with her or something.” Satan said while flipping the page. “Why were you looking for me, Mammon?” I asked while looking at his eyes full of frustration “Ya said we're gonna have a date today, right? Well, let's go now!”

“But it's raining badly outside. It's hard to go on a date in that weather.”

“Aaah! Don't mind that! We are gettin' outta here whether it's rainin' or not. I also got some extra cash again from bettin' on Magic: The Gate!” He said as he dragged me out of the library. “Wait Mammo-” I was about to respond he turned around in abrupt then held my shoulders tightly.

“Look, Val. I know I've been out a lot and you've been busy with school, but just this once, let me kidnap for ya for a date in the rain, okay? We'll probably ask some dude from a restaurant for some meals and towels.”

God why is he so cute

I felt the blood rush through my cheeks and kissed him “Sure! Of course! Let's go right now!” Smiling, he drags me out of the House of Lamentation and runs through the rain, not bothering that we both intended to leave the umbrellas near the entrance.
